NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are investigating a shooting a few blocks away from the fairgrounds.
The shooting happened around 7:45 p.m. in the 2700 block of Reilly Street.
NOPD spokesman Garry Flot said the victim, an unidentified man, is suffering from a gunshot wound.
Flot didn't give any information on a possible suspect or motive.
