NEW ORLEANS — Two black men seen fleeing the scene of a Prytania Street murder are being sought by the New Orleans Police Department, authorities said Monday.
Police found a man fatally shot in the 2000 block of Prytania Street on Friday morning in what authorities believes to be an apparent ransacking of his Lower Garden District Home.
The man’s 2008 Jeep Cherokee was missing from the location and police later towed a white Dodge Charger from the area.
Monday, NOPD released descriptions of two men it believes was involved in the shooting.
The first assailant is described as a black man in his late 20s, standing about 5-foot-8 with an average build and dark complexion. He was wearing a black T-shirt with white writing and denim jeans and was armed with a hand gun.
The second subject also is a black man in his late 20s, also about 5-8 with an average build. However, the NOPD said he has a goatee. He was wearing a black T-shirt with white writing along denim jeans and had a hand gun.
