NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police have released a composite sketch of two men wanted for a carjacking that happened Thursday.

The shooting happened at 11:05 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Galvez.

Police say the victim was in her car when a gunman approached her window. When the victim refused to get out, the gunman fired shots. The victim fled on foot and the gunman got behind the wheel, drove off and picked up a second man, who was acting as a look out, according to police.

The first suspect is described as a black man who is about 32 to 34 years old. He has live splashes on his face and is about 6 feet to 6'2" tall. He has an athletic build and a white hooded sweatshirt with a center pocket. The coat portion is white and the hooded portion was multi-colored.

He was also wearing black jeans and was armed with a silver colored handgun with an extended magazine.

The second suspect is also a black male. He's believed to be 19 to 20 years old and about 5'7" to 5'9" tall. He has a skinny build, a black zipped sweatshirt, black pants and black G Nikes shoes. He was armed with a dark colored handgun.
