NEW ORLEANS - A New Orleans police officer fired his weapon at a man around 10 a.m. Tuesday morning near Lamarque and Thayer Streets in Algiers.
The man pulled a gun, then the officer drew his weapon and fired at the suspect, but did not hit him, police said.
The 21-year-old man, who had two outstanding warrants, was taken into custody.
