Feb. 22: North Claiborne and Marigny
NEW ORLEANS - Police were responding to two afternoon shootings - one that left a man dead and a second that left a woman injured.
A homicide was reported near North Claiborne and Marigny near an Auto Zone store around 2 p.m. The victim was found lying on the sidewalk, dead near a vehicle. He was shot several times.
The second shooting was reported at Chalfant and Florida, where a woman was said to be injured.
