NEW ORLEANS - A 38-year-old man that police said shot four people, one fatally, after an argument outside of a home is being sought by law enforcement.
Larry J. Haynes, whose nickname is SLY, is wanted for one count of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted first degree murder.
Police said that Haynes was arguing with his girlfriend and three others when he pulled out a gun and began firing before running away.
The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of South Roman.
One of the victims, Tiara Reynolds, died on the scene. The other victims include one man who was shot in the head and is in critical condition and two others who were shot - one in the arm and one in the body - and are listed as stable.
According to police, Haynes was previously arrested for First Degree Murder During a Crime, Crack and Marijuana Possession, Contributing to Delinquency of a Minor, Firearm During a Crime, Extortion, Domestic Violence, Battery on a Police Officer, Flight from a Police Officer, Trespassing and Unauthorized use of a Moveable.
