NEW ORLEANS – Police are searching for a suspect in a sexual assault incident in which a woman was attacked in her bedroom by an unknown man, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
On June 30, the victim was lying in bed in the 2600 block of Marias Street when she was awoken by a man sexually assaulting her on top of her.
The suspect is described as a black man with a slim build and pulled back dread locks. He was wearing a dark colored undershirt with blue jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-111.
