NEW ORLEANS - Police are looking for a man they say went into an occupied hotel room and walked off with the occupant's iPad and iPad charger.
Police say the suspect, Anthony Thomas knocked on the door of a French Quarter hotel room and when the guest inside ignored the knock, he went inside.
Police said Thomas apologized to the occupant for entering the room and then he took the items.
The incident occurred on Oct. 28.
The victim was shown a picture of Thomas by hotel security and he quickly identified him as the man who was in the room.
Police said Thomas was familiar to the security team and they said he is also wanted for another crime caught on security camera that happened at another hotel on Oct. 15.
