LOCKPORT, La. -- Two people were arrested Tueday after Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office agents found a suspected methamphetamine laboratory at a Lockport home, according to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office.
Kyle Trosclair, 29, of Thibodaux, and Shelby Howard, 19, of Lockport, were arrested in connection with the investigation, officials with the sheriff's office said.
On Tuesday, agents were called to Howard's home on Myrtle Drive to investigate a possible meth lab. According to the sheriff's office, agents found items commonly used to make meth and two bottles inside the home that had possible byproducts of meth. Police said Howard had bought the items for Trosclair to make meth.
Howard was arrested and booked with creation/operation of a clandestine lab, while agents obtained a warrant for Trosclair’s arrest for the same charge.
Trosclair was arrested Wednesday at a gas station in Thibodaux. He was booked with creation/operation of a clandestine lab and additionally booked with possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
