NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police say a person has died in a shooting Monday night near Louisiana Avenue.
The shooting happened by the intersection of Delachaise and LaSalle around 3:45 p.m.
A New Orleans Police Department spokesperson said the victim is an 18-year-old man. His identity won't be released until his family is notified.
Police haven't identified a suspect or a motive.
