Evidence in the murder of a Bourbon Street dancer was moved to FBI headquarters in Quantico, Va., according to a Hancock County official, while a suspect in the death of Jaren Lockhart is now being held on a $1 million bond.

Sheriff Don Bass confirmed that evidence from the murder was sent to federal investigators in Virginia. Two suspects Margaret Sanchez and Terry Speaks remain in custody.

Our Biloxi, Miss., affiliate says a judge raised the bond for Sanchez one day after officials charged her with harboring a sex offender, Speaks.

Speaks awaits extradition to North Carolina, where he will face charges for failing to register as a sex offender.

Neither of the suspects is charged in connection with killing of Lockhart, whose dismembered body washed ashore in Mississippi two weeks ago.
