PLANO -- Police and U.S. Marshals are searching for the 23-year-old suspect in a Louisiana attempted murder case after he fled while they were serving an arrest warrant Friday.
Around 5:00 p.m., Plano police officers were assisting U.S. Marshals in serving a warrant for Danny Saulny at the Eastside Village Apartments when he fled on foot, according to Plano police spokeswoman Heather Bowden. Saulny is wanted for attempted murder in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.
Canine units and a Department of Public Safety helicopter joined marshals and police in searching for Saulny, but they were unable to locate him. It is unclear if he is still in Plano.
Saulny is described as a 23-year-old black male, 6-feet tall, 220 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He has several tattoos, including a star design near his right eye and a crescent moon between his eyebrows. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweat pants.
