METAIRIE, La. - Two men armed with semi-automatic pistols robbed two pedestrians and a business in Metairie Thursday, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. The men turned themselves into police on Friday.

According to spokesman Glenn T. Boyd, the two men began their spree early Thursday by robbing a pedestrian at 6320 Riverside Drive. The second robbery of pedestrian occurred at 5200 Veterans Blvd. and the men then robbed a Discount Zone at 1620 Veterans Blvd.

The suspects were identified as 21-year-old David Lewis of Metairie and 19-year-old Stanford Randolph of New Orleans. Arrest warrants were issued for both men. Boyd said the suspects were seen fleeing in a white minivan, the model of which was unknown.

Both men surrendered at the NOPD's 7th District headquarters.  They will be booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.
