Man wanted for armed robbery of Gentilly Walmart

NEW ORLEANS - Police released a photo of a man wanted for the armed robbery of a Gentilly Walmart. 

The man walked in to the Walmart on Chef Menteur Highway around 11:15 a.m. and approached the Customer Service Desk.  

According to police, the cashier said the man claimed that he had a gun and he would shoot everyone behind the counter if she didn't put money in a bag. The cashier gave the man $4,886 in cash and the robber walked out of the store.
