Suspect named in River Ridge fatal shooting

METAIRIE, La. – Deputies are looking for a man they believe was involved in the homicide of a man in River Ridge.

Rashaud Robinson, 27, of Metairie, was named as a suspect in the Sept. 7 death of 37-year-old Jeffrey Johnson.

Johnson was found lying on the porch of a home in the 200 block of S. Bengal Road, and died at the scene.

Authorities said there were two more people they believe Robinson shot at during the incident. A 16-year-old boy received a minor injury, and deputies said the other person ran away from the home and was not injured.
