NEW ORLEANS - A former New Orleans police sergeant heading back to court on Monday.
Arthur Kaufman was convicted of covering up the Danziger Bridge police shootings, but now he's hoping to convince the judge he deserves a new trial.
Kaufman said that a secret public relations campaign by federal authorities deprived him of a fair trial.
But prosecutors said there's been no evidence that shows how media reports on the Danziger Bridge shootings influenced the trial.
The hearing is set for 8:30 a.m.
