NEW ORLEANS -- A target letter has been issued to a longtime NOPD commander in connection with a 2008 Beach Corner bar fight.
Cpt. Joe Waguespack received notice he was under criminal scrutiny by a federal grand jury investigating the brawl between NOPD officers and RTA workers.
Waguespack was not involved in the Mardi Gras fight, but according to sources, he's being looked at for his role in an alleged cover up.
