PINPOINT WEATHER CENTER -- Looks like a cool front may be moving our way!
Friday night will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms starting in the afternoon. There will be some rain Saturday for the Irish Channel Parade, but it will not be a washout. Highs will be in the lower 70s.
The cold front will move through New Orleans Saturday night into Sunday morning with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some heavy rain will be possible and lows will be in the 50s.
The rain will come to an end around noon on Sunday just in time for the Metairie Road St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Sunday will stay mostly cloudy, but it will be MUCH COOLER and breezy. Highs will only be in the lower 60s. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy and cooler with lows in the 40s north of the lake and 50s south.
Then, there will be ANOTHER cold front Monday with a few showers possible. Highs will be in the mid-60s.
Mostly cloudy and very mild with a 40% chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs around 78. Wind N 5-10 mph.
FRIDAY NIGHT/SATURDAY MORNING:
Mostly cloudy and slightly cooler with a 20% chance for isolated showers. Lows north of the lake around 53 and south of the lake around 60. Wind NE 5-10 mph.
Mostly cloudy and mild with a 40% chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs around 71. Wind E 6-12 mph.
SUNDAY - SET CLOCKS FORWARD 1 HR AT 2AM:
A 70% chance for showers and thunderstorms in morning until Noon. Then mostly cloudy, breezy & cooler. Lows in the 50s. Highs around 62.
