NEW ORLEANS - A week's worth of events surrounding the death of Archbishop Philip Hannan has built up to Thursday afternoon's funeral at St. Louis Cathedral.

We have been live streaming pictures of the visitation inside the cathedral all day.

Visitation is wrapping up  in preparation for the funeral at 2 p.m.

WWL's Doug Mouton will be live outside the Cathedral where an overflow crowd is expected to attend the event.

There is limited seating inside so they do not expect to have room for those walking up.  This is why they have set up the "Jumbotron" outside the Cathedral and there are steps and seats set up in Jackson Square for people to come watch.

New Orleans Archbishiop Greg Aymond will celebrate the mass.  There will be 18 bishops, hundreds of priests and some notable figures, such as Victoria Kennedy (Ted Kennedy's widow), the governor and the mayor.

It will be a packed cathedral inside and all are here to say goodbye to a Catholic icon and a New Orleans icon.

Doug was able to talk to get reactions from those that had visted the Cathedral Thursday morning.
