An 18-wheeler crashed into a house in Larose early Tuesday morning, State Police said. No one was injured.
The vehicle struck the house on La. 1, north of the Gulf Intracoastal Canal, shortly before 1:30 a.m., and the drill pipe it was hauling became dislodged, causing further damage, police said.
Police removed the vehicle at about 5:30 a.m. Spokesmen did not know Tuesday morning if it more than one house that was damaged.
