NEW ORLEANS -- Police say a botched robbery has left one man dead and three people behind bars.

Investigators say a man and two women lured 22-year-old Sergio Castellano away from a bar Saturday night in Houma with a promise of female companionship.

Authorities say the plan was to rob Castellano -- a scheme that turned deadly.

Deputies were alerted to the murder when a tipster pointed them to one of the suspects.

"Along the way, an argument occurs and one of the suspects -- from the backseat of the vehicle -- shoots the victim who was sitting in the passenger side, front seat of the vehicle," said Capt. Dawn Foret, a spokeswoman for the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office.

Ciege Cheramie, 25, Troy Jackson, 26, Brandy Perdue, 18, each faces a charge of first-degree murder. They're also charged with armed robbery and obstruction of justice.
