THIBODAUX, La. -- Judge John LeBlanc said he will issue a written ruling Thursday on whether a Thibodaux man accused of decapitating his son in 2011 is competent to stand trial.
A hearing involving Jeremiah Wright, 31, ended Monday after six days of testimony.
The proceedings were to determine his competency to stand trial on the first-degree murder charge involving his son, 7-year-old Jori Lirette, in the summer of 2011.
