Lafourche Parish President Charlotte Randolph said there is concern in her parish about high winds and water from Tropical Storm Isaac.
Yet, Randolph was confident in how the residents of her parish would handle the impending storm.
“Our residents have been through this before,” she said. “For the most part, residents are acting how they feel they need to.”
Randolph said preparations began as early as Friday when it appeared there was a possibility that Isaac would head in the direction of southeast Louisiana.
