LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. — A 53-year-old  man missing since Thursday morning was found in Raceland dead Friday afternoon, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office said.

LPSO Public Information Officer Deputy Brennan Matherne said foul play isn’t suspected in Wayne Folse’s death. The body, however, has been turned over to the coroner’s office.

The Sheriff’s Office released no further information and said it would have no further comment.

Folse was last seen alive at 10:30 a.m. Thursday when he left Raceland Paint and Body Shop on Louisiana Hwy. 1 to run errands, Matherne said earlier Friday. Folse, however, never made it, Matherne said.

Deputies began searching for Folse on Thursday afternoon and continued through the night and Friday morning to look for him, Matherne said, eventually finding him before 2 p.m.
