A Pointe-aux-Chenes man was arrested for two attempted murders Tuesday, according to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office.
Adam Naquin, 39, was apprehended after deputies located his vehicle at a Cut Off home, said the sheriff's office. He was wanted for shooting a man multiple times and using a "blunt force object" to strike a woman in the head in the garage of his home Monday. Both victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
After learning of Naquin being at the home on East 43rd Street, authorities set up a perimeter, said the sheriff's office, and he surrendered to police after detectives ordered him out of the home.
The sheriff's office said Naquin was taken to Lafourche Parish Detention Center and was booked as a fugitive of Terrebonne Parish, and he was also booked with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held in lieu of $5,500 bond as set by Judge Jerome Barbera III for the charges in Lafourche Parish, and he is also being held for Terrebonne Parish where his bond was set at $500,000.
