HOUMA, La. - A Houma man was arrested Wednesday around 12:30 p.m. after allegedly stealing four T-Bone steaks from Wal-Mart on Grand Caillou Road in east Houma. Robert Louis Carter, 62, was arrested in the parking lot after Houma Police found the steaks stuffed into his pants. The officers were dispatched to the scene after a caller complained of the theft.
Carter has been caught three times before for the same offense at Wal-Mart and was banned from the store property, Houma Police said.
He was charged with Theft of Goods and is being held at the Terrebonne Parish Jail where he awaits trial or bond.
