HOUMA, La. - Police believe two people were killed in west Houma, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office said.
Relatives found Alyce Chauvin, 24, and Troy Hebert, 29, inside 7054 Park Avenue, and Sheriff's deputies were called at 1:38 p.m. today, the Sheriff's Office said.
They both had gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead on the scene, deputies said.
Detectives said they are investigating this double homicide and will release more information later. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office 876-2500.
