LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Lafayette authorities are looking for a college student last seen early Saturday.
Michaela "Mickey" Shunick is a 22-year-old anthropology major at the University of Louisiana.
She had been at a house in one of Lafayette's older neighborhoods — an area popular with college students and young adults with families, according to The Advertiser of Lafayette (http://bit.ly/Lww5Ix ).
Police said she left the house about 2 a.m. on a black bicycle.
On Thursday, Lafayette police asked business owners and residents with video surveillance equipment in the area to review video from May 19 to see if there are any clues to Shunick's disappearance.
Shunick is described as a white female, with blonde hair. She is 5-foot-1 and 115 pounds.
