THIBODAUX, La. (AP) — Five assistant football coaches at Destrehan High that were accused of cheating during a game with South Lafourche High School have been placed on probation.
Lafourche Parish District Attorney Cam Morvant tells The Courier (http://bit.ly/1crIKYt ) they have been required to participate in the Pretrial Intervention Program, which is primarily used for nonviolent first offenders.
The coaches, along with one coach's girlfriend, are accused of using a South Lafourche High player's user name and password to access a website where the Tarpons stored playbooks and practice film.
Accused were Destrehan assistant coach Ryan Fournier and his girlfriend, Emily Guidry, both of Larose; as well as assistant coaches Wayne Sentilles, of Montz; Daniel Luquet, of Luling; Lance Ledet, of Madisonville; and Greg Boyne, of Hahnville.
