NEW ORLEANS -- A Ninth Ward shooting has left a man dead in New Orleans on New Year's Eve, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The shooting happened around 2 p.m. near the intersection of N. Dorgenois and Mazant streets.
Police say the victim, who hasn't been identified, was shot in the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Neither a suspect nor a motive has been named in this case.
