SLIDELL, La. - A two vehicle crash with minor injuries caused heavy delays on the twin span Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred around 6:45 a.m. on the westbound I-10 near the bridge's hump.
All lanes were open by 7:35 a.m. The traffic that had stretched back to oak Harbor began to clear up quick;y.
One driver was taken to the hospital.
Use Highway 90 or the Causeway as an alternate route. Highway 11 is experiencing back-ups due to it being used as an alternate route.
