NEW ORLEANS -- The man killed in an FBI shooting was identified by the coroner's office Wednesday.
On Tuesday, 37-year-old Allen Desdunes died from a single gun shot wound, Orleans Parish Coroner's Office spokesman John Gagliano said.
An FBI agent shot a man at the Motel 6 in New Orleans East shortly after 2 p.m. The agent, according to officials, was part of a task force that was conducting surveillance of drug-related activity.
One civilian was also taken from the scene in an ambulance with minor injuries.
