EDGARD, La. — The St. John’s Sheriff’s Office has obtained a warrant for a man wanted in connection with the Sunday morning murder in Edgard, La., authorities said Tuesday.

Demond Baker, 33, will be charged with second-degree murder, Sheriff Mike Tregre said, after authorities found Ralph Thomas dead Sunday morning.

According to Tregre, Baker’s last-known address is on Quarter Road in Edgard. He’s considered armed and dangerous.
