A new report reveals dozens of new recommendations on how to repair and restore the Gulf Coast after the catastrophic BP oil spill.
The report was released by environmental groups Wednesday morning.
The repairs would be paid for by the BP fines, which part of the Restore Act. The amount of money each state will receive is still being decided.
The group recommends new dunes, marsh, oyster reefs in Barataria and Breton basins as well as building 70 miles of oyster reefs in Cameron, Terrebonne and St. Bernard parishes.
Those changes alone could cost nearly a half billion dollars.
