NEW ORLEANS - The Crescent City is seeing an influx of federal money meant to help with the continued hurricane recovery.
Senator Mary Landrieu, Mayor Mitch Landrieu and Congressman Cedric Richmond announced more than $23 million in funding grants from FEMA.
The money will go towards projects at Jackson Barracks, the Lakefront Airport and Charity Hospital, as well as the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans and the Orleans Levee District.
Officials called the money critical to New Orleans and it's residents.
