KENNER, La. -- Firefighters worked a two-alarm blaze Tuesday evening, according to the Kenner Fire Department.
The fire began at around 6:30 p.m. at 27 24th Street.
Officials say the fire appears to have started in the attic
As of 8 p.m., the fire was still ongoing. Crews are attempting to rip off part of the roof to get to the fire.
Officials said the building appears to be a business.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
