GRETNA, La. -- A longtime Gretna police chief and Jefferson Parish politician passed away Saturday.
Friends and family are saying goodbye to B.H. Miller.
Miller was first elected to the Jefferson Parish Council in 1956.
He began serving as Gretna police chief in 1979, replacing his father, who had been chief for 53 years.
B.H. Miller was 85 years old.
