Free tickets for Saints parade gone

NEW ORLEANS – All of the tickets for the viewing stand for the Saints parade are gone, according to officials.

The City of New Orleans offered ,1000 free tickets for viewing stands at Lafayette Square for the Saints parade, according to a statement from Mayor C. Ray Nagin.

According to the statement, 1,000 free tickets were available for fans on a first-come, first serve basis.

“The parade featuring owners Tom Benson and Rita Benson LeBlanc, Saints players, team administration and a host of local marching bands will kick off at 5 p.m., and will roll from Poydras and LaSalle Streets to St. Charles Avenue with a stop at Gallier Hall, passing down Canal Street and ending on Convention Center Boulevard.”
