NEW ORLEANS -- The Archdiocese of New Orleans announced funeral arrangements for Monsignor Crosby Kern who died Nov. 30 after a battle with cancer.
Vistitation will be held Dec. 6, from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Louis Cathedral, with a funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m. The internment will take place in St. Anthony's Garden.
Crosby, a St. Louis native, was an influential leader of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, spending the past 10 years as a staunch preservationist of its history, as rector at St. Louis Cathedral and director of the Old Ursuline Convent, died Friday. He was 73.
