NEW ORLEANS -- A 34-year-old Iowa woman in town for Carnival has been missing for a week, and the New Orleans Police Department is asking the public's help in finding her.

Jessica Pratt, 34, was staying at a hotel in the 2800 block of Tulane Avenue. She came in town on Feb. 6 to work at local clubs for the Mardi Gras weekend.

Police say Pratt suffers from a medical condition and may need her medicine. Her family says it's "uncharacteristic" of her to go missing without a word.

Pratt is white, 5’7” tall, with shoulder length blond hair and hazel eyes, and she weighs 120 pounds. She has a tattoo of a cross on her right hand, a heart on her left hand and the initials JP on her ankle.

If you know where Jessica Pratt is, call 821-2222.
