NEW ORLEANS - A federal judge said he is determined to find out who leaked information in the Justice Department investigation of the Danziger Bridge shootings.
U.S. District Judge Kurt Engelhardt said it appears federal prosecutors did not conduct a full investigation after news reports in 2010 predicted a former NOPD officer's guilty plea while the case was still under seal.
Attorneys for five former New Orleans police officers convicted in the case contend the leaks deprived their clients of a fair trial and they're requesting a new one.
