NEW ORLEANS - An 18-year-old man was shot and killed while he was on the phone with 911 trying to get help after saying someone was following him, according to the NOPD.
The victim was killed Friday afternoon in the 2100 block of Selma Drive near the intersection of Elysian Fields and Filmore Avenue.
According to an NOPD spokesperson, the victim called 911 because he was concerned that he was being followed.
