NEW ORLEANS -- The Drug Enforcement Administration has arrested a Mandeville doctor on 42 counts of violating the controlled substances act.
Brian Galofaro, 32, was picked up at his medical clinic on Friday without incident.
He was booked with unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery and deception.
Galofaro has also surrendered his DEA registration privileges, which will prevent him from prescribing any controlled substances.
