The NFL is taking a hard line with the tiny Prytania Theater.

The New Orleans theater -- the only single screen theater still operating in Louisiana -- canceled the movie and threw open the doors for anyone who wanted to watch the New Orleans Saints' NFC championship game on their 32-by-16-foot screen.

People who attended had a great time. Many hoped to be back for the Super Bowl. But that won't happen.

The Prytania got a cease and desist order from the NFL saying not to show any more games -- or else.

Co-owner Robert Brunet said Wednesday night that the league says the 300-seat theater showing the football game infringes on their product and also affects television ratings.
