New Orleans Police arrested a 31-year-old man and charged him in connection to a violent home invasion in the French Quarter this past weekend.
Ronnie Tolliver was charged with home invasion, aggravated burglary and aggravated battery.
According to NOPD, Tolliver followed the victim to his home in the 900 block of Dumaine Street and forced his way inside.
Tolliver then armed himself and struck the man over the head, police said, before fleeing with the object he grabbed.
Neighbors took pictures of Tolliver as he ran away and helped NOPD detectives identify him as the culprit.
