NEW ORLEANS – The city of New Orleans released a traffic advisory Thursday for this weekend.
Starting Friday at 7 a.m. the city expects a large amount of traffic around the Mercedes-Benz Superdome due to an international convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The conference will continue through the weekend, with a heavy presence of people, taxicabs and busses in the area. The New Orleans Police Department will have officers in the area to manage the flow of traffic during peak travel times.
