NEW ORLEANS -- One man was killed in a double shooting in Gentilly, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
NOPD responded to the 1900 block of Rapides Street around 8 p.m. According to police, two men, 20- and 22-years-old, had been shot.
Police said the two men were walking when another man approached them and opened fire. The 22-year-old man collapsed on the sceneand the 20-year-old m an ran into a house in the 5300 block of Wilton Street.
Both victims were taken to the hospital. The 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 20-year-old underwent surgery. His condition is unknown.
