NEW ORLEANS -- Orpheus, the super krewe founded by New Orleans native Harry Connick Jr., unveiled an eclectic celebrity lineup for its 2010 parade, which will include one of the stars of the upcoming HBO series Treme and recording artist Taylor Dayne.

At a press conference Tuesday, krewe captain Sonny Borey announced that actor Steven Zahn, who has played both comedic and dramatic roles in a wide range of movies, will ride as one of the parade's grand marshal.  He is starring in Treme, the cable series currently in production in New Orleans.

Joining Zahn for the ride will be singer Taylor Dayne and the band Smash Mouth, both of whom will perform at the krewe's Orpheuscapade, the post-parade party in the Morial Convention Center.

Local favorites who will be along for the Lundi Gras ride include Disney's Imagination Movers, the New Orleans-based performing troupe that has become a national children's TV sensation; Saints head coach Sean Payton and LSU head baseball coach Paul Mainieri.

The theme of Orpheus' February 15 parade will be Delectable Delights.  At Tuesday's press conference, the krewe also announced a partnership with Young Aspirations/Young Artists (YA/YA), the non-profit arts and social service organization.  The group will create custom works of art to be imprinted on cups, which will be thrown during the parade.
