NEW ORLEANS – Police have released the identity of a man whom they found shot dead a few blocks from the University of New Orleans campus.
Shadrach Angelain, 22, was shot and killed in the 5700 block of Wickfield Drive, according to New Orleans Police Department authorities.
Officers were called to an apartment around 8:45 a.m., finding the man with a gunshot wound the body, along with narcotics, said NOPD officer Garry Flot.
Police haven't released a motive or a suspect in the crime.
