KENNER, La. – Kenner police arrested an 18-year-old man on rape charges Sunday after he was found in bed with a 7-year-old relative, Detective Brian McGregor said Monday.
McGregor said Xavier Warren Osborne faces six charges of aggravated rape and three counts of sexual battery. Osborne is currently being held without bond in the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.
A relative found Osborne hugging and kissing the 7-year-old in bed while the victim had no underwear on, McGregor said. The relative then notified the police.
